I'm John Nasser, owner and general manager of Holland Sound Studios, Northeast
PA's premiere recording complex, for the past 20 years. At Holland
Sound, we have combined state-of-the-art, industry-standard recording
equipment that you would find at a major label studio with vintage recording
gear like Neve, API, Urie, Eventide and Lexicon (these are just a few).
But our equipment is only as good as its engineers. Our qualified
engineer George Pegula has many years experience both recording major
artists and the independents. Along with his musical experience comes
a genuine caring about the musicians and their concerns.
I, myself, have recorded in studios
from RCA (New York City) to the 'project studios' and I understand what
the musician is looking for in their recording needs: 1. Great equipment,
2. Affordable hourly rates, 3. Quality engineers and 4. Comfortable surroundings.
We are located outside of the city, away from the noise and confusion
of downtown, and we have our own parking so you don't have to worry about
your car on the street or in some parking garage. We have beautiful
outdoor surroundings and two plush lounges when you need to kick back
and take an ear break.
In addition to Holland Sound we also
have Studio 2, which is dedicated to all gospel and contemporary
Christian music, and we have recently expanded our facility with the addition
of a 32-track MIDI production studio/editing room. We will also soon be
adding more rooms and many different acoustical recording environments,
to give you a variety of different sounds to choose from!
Most importantly, at Holland Sound
we have an in-house CD and cassette manufacturing plant, with three full-time
graphic artists, here to help you with all your design needs. We
can also generate barcodes and help you trademark your band name as well.
